When I think of the upcoming holidays my first thoughts go to my family around the table in a massive Poker game! There is only one brand of cards we would ever use Bycicle Playing Cards! Two Little Monters Shop Review and Giveaway!

I am so delighted to share with you an amazing new Etsy Shop I have been fortunate enough to be able to review! I have my little loves Christian and Gavin (3, and 5) so in this house everything has to be sturdy. Sadly to say our wonderful coaster set took its first drop when Gavin was trying to set his pop down and couldn't hold his pop and his coaster but to my amazement it did not break! This told me not only is Kayla a very very creative designer but is also using top of the line products to make her wonderful creations! Magna Color Review!

We recently had the opportunity to try Magana Color I love the fact that it uses magnets and the color dots are reusable. It is kind of like a light bright but with magnets that you use a pen to insert. In my opinion that makes all the difference for little hands. My kids struggle with pushing in those pegs with magna color you use color labeled pens and the colored dots are auto sorted to make pictures. Magna Color comes with several pages like a fish, an octopus lots of cute scenes to create with! My boys are 3 and 5 and they actually could both use the Magna Color very well and my littlest is actually enjoying learning his colors while playing! I love any toy that you can use to educate with and not only can you use Magna Color to teach colors, but words, numbers anything you can create you can display and use the Magna Color to teach with. I plan to use this with my 5 year old on his spelling words he is learning small words like me, I and this will help!

I have found that toys make learning so much more engaging for kids. Roaring Spring Paper Products Review and Giveaway!

When I started buying products for back to school this year one thing I noticed was very few companies were eco friendly so I began searching for companies who offered back to school supplies that were eco friendly. I found Roaring Spring Paper Products! Not only are their products eco friendly and American Made but they are also super innovative we were given the opportunity to review the their Color Me Notebooks, Cross Over (landscape portrait and graph books), and Genesis Notebooks (made from sugar cane paper)! The Color Me notebooks were by far the kids favorite they really enjoyed that they could actually color the front of the notebook and design it with their own work! I actually enjoyed the Cross Over book the most as I like to draw a little here and there! The Genesis notebooks though were the most functional; these are actual 1, 3 and 5 subject notebooks that come in regular or colored paper that are made using the sugar cane process which I am going to explain. This is the notebook we now buy for our kids to use at school on a day to day basis. This will be what we continue to buy as well every year notebooks continue to be on our children's back to school supply list!

The process that Roaring Spring uses to make their eco friendly paper involves using sugarcane. (Actual excerpt from Roaring Paper website describing the sugarcane process) What is it? Sugarcane paper is produced from the sugarcane fibers that are the residue from the sugarcane refining process. These fibers contain cellulose. Cellulose is the basic building block used to produce most papers. The sugarcane fiber replaces the traditional wood-based fibers used to produce most papers. The resulting paper has normal brightness and a very smooth writing surface. How is it Made? The sugarcane “pulp”, or residue, that remains from the sugarcane refining process is transferred from the refiner to the paper mill. The pulp is refined and treated at the mill, in a similar way that wood pulp is used at a traditional paper mill. In some cases, a small % of wood pulp, like eucalyptus pulp, is added to the sugarcane fiber pulp. This enhances the writing surface properties of the paper. Why use Sugarcane Paper? This is the ultimate bio-sustainable solution. The fibers that remain from the sugarcane refining process have traditionally been burned, landfilled or otherwise wastefully disposed of. By converting the fibers to sugarcane paper, this not only helps to prevent environmental damage, but also uses an available resource instead of harvesting trees. Additionally, the paper provides a smooth, white writing surface for all of your note-taking needs. Skwooshi Review!

Skwooshi is an amazing no mess new molding compound; I would describe as a mix between Moon Dough and Play Dough but without the mess they make ! Skwooshi also never dries out! Skwooshi doesn't stick to anything the clean up is so easy. We even dropped a few pieces in our carpet to test this out. You can pick it right up! My 3 and 4 year old love playing molding and creating o I was delighted to se a product that wouldn't stick to their clothing or my carpet! They received three Skwooshi products to try; The Skwooshi Action set, Skwooshi 3D Mini Molds and an extra pack of Skwooshi!

The Action Set Pictured here included a ship and a train mold, 2 storage containers and 4 oz Skwooshi Compound. I loved the extra 3D Poodle Mini Mold we received as well as the extra 4oz.Skwooshi Compound I will definitely be buying a few of these to use as tocking stuffers for my kiddos.
